Autism is a spectrum with varying degrees of manifestation. In Vietnam, only severe cases are easily detected early, while individuals who don’t require much support and possess good skills or special tendencies are often not diagnosed early. Children with mild autism-ADHD are particularly difficult to detect, and as they are not yet examined correctly or given proper intervention, their specialized intelligence and talents are not fully developed from a young age. The talkshow and music program: "We Are Smart in Our Own Way" features Th.S Nguyễn Chung Tuệ, who was diagnosed with autism-ADHD at the age of 40, and Dr. Nguyễn Thị Phượng, an expert in clinical research on individuals with mild autism. Dr. Phượng has more than 20 years of direct experience working with children with autism-ADHD and 8 years of research on children with mild autism. During the talkshow and music session, parents will have the opportunity to listen to songs performed and composed by Th.S Nguyễn Chung Tuệ, which he created as part of his self-treatment journey, inspiring the autism community through his story. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Phượng will also share her expertise, helping parents recognize their children's differences, their special intelligence, and providing advice on how to nurture their talents from an early age.
